Terms of service
Scope and acceptance
These terms apply when you use the Tempest Mainframe website, Tempest Signal, Tempest Streaming Studio features, Twitch Extensions, Discord Guests, supported Kick integrations, Storm Horizon Radio playback or downloads, and related hosted services. Using a covered service means you agree to these terms and the rules of any connected platform.
Open-source software
Tempest Streaming Studio is distributed under GNU GPLv3. That license—not these hosted-service terms—grants the rights to run, inspect, modify, and redistribute the covered software. Third-party components remain subject to their own license notices.
Acceptable use
Do not break applicable law; violate another person's rights; send abusive automated traffic; bypass security, identity, rate, or download controls; falsify receipts; impersonate another person; interfere with another user; introduce malicious code; or access content, systems, or accounts without permission. Access may be limited or suspended to protect users and services.
Your content and configuration
You remain responsible for media, custom code, commands, names, overlays, guest imagery, and other content you import, publish, or display. Use only content you have the right to use. Alert Packs can contain HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and media and should be imported only from trusted creators. You are responsible for keeping public interactions accurate, safe, and compliant.
Twitch interactions and Bits
The free Studio Extension does not include a Bits flow. The separate Tempest Streaming Extension can offer predefined interactions for the Bits amount shown by Twitch. Twitch presents and confirms the exchange, controls account eligibility and balances, and determines revenue distribution. A Bits exchange is not a donation, financial service, wager, or contest of chance. Twitch's own terms and Bits policies also apply.
Music playback and downloads
Playback is offered for personal listening. Download access, when available, is limited to one full album or up to 12 individual tracks per verified browser or network in a rolling 24-hour period and may be paused by a global safety limit. Downloaded files are for personal, non-commercial use unless a release states otherwise. Do not redistribute, resell, impersonate the artist, remove attribution, or use the catalog to train a model without written permission from the rights holder.
Third-party platforms
Twitch, Discord, Kick, Cloudflare, Railway, GitHub, radio hosting, and optional providers are independent services. Their availability, policies, and permissions can change. Tempest Mainframe is not endorsed by or affiliated with those providers, and their terms govern your use of their platforms. Discord Guests does not authorize a self-bot or message access.
Availability, changes, and termination
Hosted services are provided on an “as available” basis and may change, experience interruptions, or be discontinued. To the fullest extent allowed by law, no warranty is made that a hosted service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Tempest Mainframe may limit or revoke access when reasonably necessary for security, policy compliance, legal duties, or prevention of abuse. You may stop using a service and revoke connected authorizations at any time.
Policy updates and contact
Material changes appear here with a new effective date and apply to later use. The existing combined legal record remains available at /legal. For questions, authorization removal, or troubleshooting, use /support.
